This family is so easy-going and relaxed and beautiful. I looooove photographing them! I also like that that this was my second session with them, so I knew their personalities before we started.

Alex still remembered my little smile tricks from last year and wanted to help me out when it was Adrian’s turn to be the subject.

Alia is going through a separation-anxiety stage right now. Abigail was so smart. She clowned around when she knew it would help then suddenly disappeared, so I could have Alia’s attention instead of her tears and reaching for Mommy.

Her cheeks are every bit as squishy and kissable as they look!

All I’ll say is that someday I want a picture like this of my children and me!!! I wish it would be bigger, so you could see Alia’s face. Her expression is priceless.

gorgeous kids and photos!
what beautiful pictures! And my word, somebody has ceeeute kids!
Love it!
I just l-l-l-o-o-v-v-e these pics. (and the kids too!!!) But why wouldn’t I since I’m their gramma? (haha) Seriously, you really do a good job, Christy.
Thanks, everyone!! And, Treva, you have a right to be proud of them…being their grandma and all. Even from a non-biased view, though, I think they are exceptionally cute AND sweet! Last night I was holding Allia, and I told Steve I’m going to adopt her. (Shhhh, don’t tell Abigail!
)
So whats your trick to get kids to smile? Care to tell?
Well, different things work for different personalities. For these it worked great to have one of their siblings hide behind me, then jump out with a silly face.
Thanks for sharing. I had two little girls to shot today. I’m always looking for new ways to get a good smile.
